In this skill and relational based therapy group participants will be guided in working through the challenges they are having in romantic, friend, family, and work relationships.

The group will be 6-7 members and two experienced group leaders Isaac Garfield LCSW and Nate Schlingmann LPC.

We will meet Bi-Weekly for 90 Minutes. Once per month on Zoom and Once per month in a covered outdoor space in Mount Airy. All participants must be vaccinated.

Group participants will develop their skills in:

  • COMMUNICATION: learning to identify and ask for what you want in a way that is effective and empowering

  • LISTENING: Learning to be fully present with others on an emotional level while maintaining boundaries so as to not get emotionally overwhelmed.

  • COMMITMENT: Creating agreements that help build and grow your relationship. Learning how to acknowledge when you make a mistake and restore what you’re committed to.

  • MINDFULNESS: learning to manage intense feelings in your relationships (e.g. anger, fear, sadness, jealousy)

Date: Starts Monday June 7th from 7:15-8:45 The group will be an 8 -week series
